It’s a Giveaway ~ Thanks FACEBOOK fans! : )

Ooooooh, it’s a giveaway!!  To celebrate YOU, my Facebook fans, in helping me reach 1600+ friends…it’s time to bless somebody with some incredible memories!  What’s up for grabs? A 60-minute session for up to 5 people in the metro-PHX area, and high-resolution jpg files of everything (yes, kids, that’s right!) I edit. That’s usually 20+ images…all yours to print as you’d like! This session is good any time during 2013 as long as I have an opening in my schedule (I’m already booking well into next year, so don’t wait too long!).

So, how can you get a chance to win this awesome prize? Easy peasy.  Since my business name is taken from my mom’s nickname for me (Lizzie-B! And yes, she still calls me that to this day…) I want to know what YOUR nickname is!  I would love to know what your nickname is (or was!) so that I can have a good laugh : ).  C’mon, Schmoopsie….this will be fun!  All you need to do is comment on this post – tell me your nickname. Be sure to leave your full first & last name along with your nickname so that I can find you when I randomly choose a winner.   You must also be a “fan” of my Facebook business page. You can find it here : ).

I will let pick a winner next Tuesday, 10/30, and announce the winner on my Facebook page.  Let’s go, Boopsie!

My mom calls me bear. I think it comes from Care Bear, which is close to my name, at least the first word. LOVE giveaways by way!! ;))))

  2. Chrysty Clarkson October 17, 2012 at 1:15 am #

Growing up my brother and his friends used to call me “Olive Oyl” because I was always the tall, lanky girl with brown hair. It wasn’t until college that I embraced my height and now I even wear high heels to make myself even taller! 🙂
    I absolutely love your work!!

  3. Suzanne Hartnett October 17, 2012 at 1:21 am #

    Suzanna-Banana has always been popular!

  4. Holly Moore October 17, 2012 at 1:21 am #

Ooh, what a great prize! You are so talented Beth, I just love your work.

My momma calls me Muffie and my dad calls me Toots (not as in booty fluffs, haha! but as in short for Tootsie). Then of course they always called me Holly Dolly.

  5. Laura Levin October 17, 2012 at 1:32 am #

LOVE the photo Beth!! My mom called me “peanut” when I was a kid.

  6. Sarah milligan October 17, 2012 at 2:13 am #

I was always Puddin to my mom and kiddo to my dad. My dad stills calls me that, thankfully my mom not so much.

  7. Theresa Lofgren October 17, 2012 at 2:21 am #

T-Rex, t-nap and tree are the best ones for me!

  8. Mary Wilson October 17, 2012 at 2:25 am #

When I was growing up, my nickname was Skippy… of course because I skipped EVERYWHERE I went! 🙂

  9. Wendy Peterson October 17, 2012 at 2:25 am #

I have a couple of nicknames. My uncle used to call me Wednesday, in highschool they called me starshine, and all my daycare kids called me Nenny! Take your pick (oh and my best friend for the last 20+ years likes to call me Gwendolyn)!

  10. Terri Mackmer October 17, 2012 at 3:09 am #

That adorable cutie in your photo goes to the same church as I. LOVE that whole family! Thanks for a chance to win. The nickname that sticks with me from childhood is Terri Berri Bonkers (one of my Aunts still calls me that – I sort of love it!)

  11. Liza Miguel October 17, 2012 at 3:13 am #

My dad was the only one that had a nickname for me. He use to call me Lila (lee-la) in spanish. It was actually the name of my imaginary friend when I was little.

  12. Morgan Borkowski October 17, 2012 at 3:31 am #

My nickname, when I was little was always ‘Momo’, then as I got older it got condensed to just plain ‘Mo’, and then as I entered high school everyone began calling me ‘Mamma Mo’ because of all of my mother-like tendencies haha- from picking up all my drunk friends when they needed a ride after a crazy night of partying to keeping the softball girls out of trouble while going away to tournaments :o)Yep, I was an old fuddy-duddy. haha :o)

  13. Trish Vonnahme October 17, 2012 at 3:35 am #

Trish Vonnahme-Beth you took awesome pictures of my daughters. I absolutely love them. My nickname is from when I was in high school “trish the dish”. So funny because I hadn’t been called that since high, but today a patient called me that. Too funny. Hope I win!! : )

  14. Tiffney Taylor October 17, 2012 at 3:52 am #

My nickname growing up was dirtball. I was always playing in the dirt. My cousin couldn’t say his T’s, so he called me Fiffy, that was my other nickname.

  15. Cristina Carolin October 17, 2012 at 3:56 am #

Hello, apparently I announced my nickname by yelling it outside the side of a trolley in Sanfrancisco “LOCA LUE” extremely weird, I know. I hope I win, I love your work!

  16. Nancy Chadwick October 17, 2012 at 5:09 am #

I’m wracking my brain here and I think the only “nickname” I was ever called was “Nance”….. Pretty boring, I know. I was usually the creator of the nicknames instead of the “nick-named”! LOL. 😉

  17. Meghan Wright October 17, 2012 at 5:42 am #

My dad still to this day calls me “booboo kitty”. I’m almost 21, I doubt he’s going to stop now.

  18. Bridgette St. Hilaire October 17, 2012 at 5:51 am #

Hi Beth! The kiddos I used to babysit called me “Biddie”. Not very flattering but I didn’t know what it meant at the time anyway. One little girl called me “bird sh!!t” but not intentionally…that’s just how it sounded when she tried to say Bridgette. It’s a difficult name for the littles to say 🙂
Thank goodness I’m known now as “mommy!”

  19. Sarah Thompson October 17, 2012 at 1:53 pm #

What a fun giveaway! My nickname growing up, from my twin sister Kate, was “Tate” – even though my name is Sarah, I think she wanted us to be even more alike, with our names! I would love to win this giveaway for a photoshoot with HER (we’ve never had a “twin” photoshoot) in Phoenix/Tempe!!

P.S. To this day, she is the only one who can call me Tate! 🙂

  20. Harmony Easley October 17, 2012 at 1:57 pm #

I’ve had several different nicknames over the past. Each one is unquie to certain people.
First there is Harm. (my named shortened) mainly my mom and dad and siblings call me that.
Then there’s Miss Harm… That is reserved for my Aunt and Grandma! They are the only 2 people who call me that. My aunt tells me it’s because I always acted like a little adult… However I think it’s because my Sisters name is Missy and they would start to call her name and then halfway through correct themselves.

And then there’s the last one. I can’t believe I’m sharing this. This is so embarrassing and no one calls me this anymore except my cousin… But when I was younger I had a couple of Aunts and Uncles that called me “Harms n Knees” I haven no idea where or how they thought of it but for a while that was what I was known as… Like I said I have one cousin who thinks its funny to still call me that. My mom told me my uncle made that name up for me cause he thought it rhymed?!?!

    So there you go…

  21. Heather Jantzen October 17, 2012 at 2:05 pm #

My Dad calls me Joyce… nothing too exciting, just my middle name 😉

  22. Marie Stallone October 17, 2012 at 2:08 pm #

My whole family called me “Mrrr” but my Dad always called me Minerva or Mrsky when I was young. I hated it (especially when it was around my friends)! I love your work and would be SO THRILLED to win!!!!!!

  23. Cassia Cook October 17, 2012 at 3:07 pm #

In elementary school, the boys used to call me Smasha-Potatoes. (Cassia/Smasha rhymes).

  24. Kelly Dwyer October 17, 2012 at 3:51 pm #

My neighbor, Mrs. Graham, used to call me “shortstop”. My mom still lives in the same house I was born and raised in so I still see Mrs. Graham when I visit!

  25. David Segura October 17, 2012 at 6:28 pm #

I’ve never really had any nicknames. My name is David and I’m called “Dave” sometimes. Well I guess I did have another… when I was growing up there were two Davids on my street (me and another that was one year younger than me). I was “Big Dave” and he was “Little Dave”. We did have lots of nicknames for our neighbors…

  26. Rebecca Henry October 18, 2012 at 2:00 am #

When I was young, my nickname was Chocolate Eyes. The name wore off as I grew older (and my eyes changed color too!). Nowadays my nickname, mind you that I love, is ‘mom’. <3

  27. Jon Stolarski October 18, 2012 at 4:30 am #

  28. Sebrina Hall October 18, 2012 at 2:18 pm #

My mom called me floppsie moppsie because I was always jumping around and doing flips. She would say “Sit down floppsie moppsie!” It was cute…I guess but the annoying part was she called me that as I got older. She would even explain why she called that to my friends and boyfriends….lol. By the time I got to my 20’s we had to have a talk. She still sneaks the story in every now and then….totally embarassing!

  33. Christie Darago October 22, 2012 at 8:48 pm #

I never really had a nickname growing up, but somehow a friend started calling me Crickey because of her young son’s mispronunciation and it stuck!

  34. Shelbey October 23, 2012 at 1:55 am #

Nickname? Me? How about “Shelbey” as in “She’ll-be-coming-around-the-mountain.” I’ve never really had a nickname, but the cruel neighborhood boys used to sing that song to me! 🙂

  40. Laura Hempleman October 24, 2012 at 12:33 am #

I have many nicknames!! But everyone in the horsey world just calls me “Hemples” 🙂 Other people have called me “Shrew” (I always seem to have tall friends and I’m 5’3”) And “Chachi” (because in high school I could watch spanish soap operas, read books, and listen to the radio all in spanish! and I did a lot! And let’s face it… I’m pretty white) OHH!! and of course to the fabulous Lyssa Corbett, I am “Cupcake” haha no clue why!

  43. Joanne Woolf October 24, 2012 at 12:41 am #

My family called me Jo (short for Joanne) which was ok because of the Facts of Life and Little Women…They also called me Jo Jo, which got a little embarrassing as I got older, especially when my husband got a hold of it and changed it to Jo Jo the dog faced boy. I know, how romantic!

  44. Michelle Merriman October 24, 2012 at 12:50 am #

My cousin used to call me “Shell” since he couldn’t say “Michelle.” I know, it’s not very exciting, but my mom named me and wanted me to use that name! 🙂
