Abounding Beauty | {Megan} | Mountain View High School Class of ’15 | Mesa Senior Photographer

When Megan’s mom got in touch with me about capturing her senior year, I had *no* idea what kind of beauty awaited me!  I mean…look at her!!! As if she isn’t  gorgeous enough, her sweet horses just made her session even more perfect!  Megan is way more than just a beauty, though ~ I told her that she is the classy side of horses.  I can’t say that I’ve ever met someone who could balance gracefully in heels and work with a horse at the same time, but Megan can:).  There is no way that I could begin to list her accomplishments as an equestrian, but that fancy jacket she has on is the result of a National Championship.  Her Arabian gelding, Fortunes Fate, is retired now.  But over the course of 5 years, Megan says, “We accumulated 4 Regional Championships, 1 Reserve, and 7 Top Fives. At the National level, we went Champion in first level in 2011, and we hold 4 Top 10 titles.”  She continues to work with her newest Arabian, SSavant.  Megan is currently training him and looking forward to many years of competition with him as a partner.  But that’s not all…Megan is a brilliant scholar with big plans for furthering her education and is still deciding which college to attend.  She has managed to balance all of her training and traveling and family life and amazing grades *and* have fabulous hair, so she is beyond awesome in my opinion. : )  I’ve saved the best part of her for last, though.  She is the kindest, sweetest young woman.  In fact, when I left her home after we completed her session, I thought about how much I admired her for not letting all of the success and achievements affect her personality.  Megan is totally the girl that I would’ve wanted to be close friends with in high school.  She is real and genuine and confident…and lovely.  Thank you for letting me capture this time for you, Megan! I’m excited for you to see your full gallery soon…hugs to you (and your awesome mama!). xoxo  {Megan’s makeup is the artistry of Makeup by Quinn. Click here}
